Family/Couples Counseling
We work with families and couples to develop and nurture the communication skills that are an essential part of promoting healthy boundaries, well-being, and happiness among members in intimate relationships.
Substance Abuse Counseling

Cognitive Therapy
Cognitive therapy is a relatively short-term, focused method for a wide range of psychological problems including depression, anxiety, anger, marital conflict, loneliness, panic, fears, eating disorders, substance abuse, alcohol abuse and dependence and personality problems.
Adult Individual Services
Suncoast Safety Council
If you have been referred by the Suncoast Safety Council for a DUI or interlock issue, this option is for you.
Probation/Court Referral (18 and older)
If you have been referred by the court system, this option is for you.
Adolescent Individual Services
If you are 12-18 and would like to speak with an objective and empathetic non-family member about concerns you may be having, this option is for you.
Juvenile Arbitration Referral (under 18)
If you have been referred by the Juvenile Drug Court, this option is for you.

Sandra is a licensed mental health counselor who enjoys what she does immensely. She takes great joy in seeing her clients grow and thrive. She has worked in various settings including residential adolescent treatment, psychiatric hospitalization, DUI outpatient groups, and private practice. In addition, she has volunteered at domestic violence shelters and for organizations that cater to women’s issues. She is a certified Addictions Counselor and a specialist in the field. She has worked with many clients to provide the tools, strategies and confidence they need for successful recovery. She is comfortable and experienced working with individuals, couples, families, and in group settings.

Joel McNair has worked in the community mental health field, in both public and private agencies and in private counseling practice for the past 30 years. He holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Catholic University of America and is credentialed in Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and in Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Elizabeth Rice
My name is Elizabeth Rice and I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern. I earned my Bachelors in Science of Human Behavior with a focus in addiction studies from Springfield College in 2010. I then went on to earn my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University. I am very passionate about substance abuse and mental health. I truly believe that there is a strong relationship between the two, which is highly underestimated. I have been working with adolescent and adult populations since 2010, conducting individual and family sessions, and facilitating groups. I utilize a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I believe that emotional maturity is the key to success when trying to overcome mental health and substance abuse issues. My goal is to assist my clients in learning how to identify and process their emotions in a healthy way, and to guide them toward a happy, healthy life.
